Air filter replacement for 3 - 10 year old Volkswagen's.
Replacing air filters at Volkswagen’s recommended intervals will allow your engine to run efficiently. Over time the filter becomes dirty and could become blocked due to dirt/rust particles in the air.
A dirty/blocked air filter makes it difficult for the engine to breathe, which means it has to work much harder, which uses more fuel. This in turn could cause damage to other components, such as the exhaust catalyst and turbo charger.
Replacing the air filter ensures that the engine operates efficiently and has a longer serviceable life.
